Standard Admission Prices

The reduced rate of €2 applies to EU students (with valid student ID), visitors over 65, and holders of certain cultural discount cards. Identification is required at the entrance.

The “Be the First” early-access ticket (€25) opens the museum at 8:00am, a full hour before the standard doors. You get 40 minutes with the collection essentially to yourself — a remarkable experience with the Ramesses II statue and the tomb of Kha in silence — before the regular flow of visitors begins at 9:00am. This is available on selected days and sells out quickly; book well in advance if this is your preference.

Children under 6 enter free. EU citizens aged 18–25 receive a reduced-rate ticket on presentation of a valid ID.
